Locate & Go worked with NHS Grampian to integrate their database of emergency contraception centres and sexually transmitted infection (STI) clinics into the system. The keyword SEXINFO was allocated as something relevant and easily remembered.

When the keyword SEXINFO is texted to 80182, the user′s location is calculated, using Locate & Go′s mobile phone location technology. Then details of the user′s nearest emergency and full contraception clinics, and nearest STI clinic, are sent in a text.

The service is perfect for young people as it works wherever they happen to find themselves. Plus it′s quick to use and easy to remember, essential for the kind of information being provided.
